What in the world is OTORHINOLARYNGOLOGY?

Sometimes shortened to otolaryngology, Otorhinolarngology is a medical and surgical specialty dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the ears, nose, and throat including disorders of the face, oral cavity, and upper respiratory tract.
Derived from greek word roots, oto meaning ear, rhino meaning nose, and laryng meaning throat. For most of us, it is easier to just say ENT.
